I wanted a grand opening for my store so people would notice it and would likewise be known to others through word of mouth. As part of my grand opening celebration, I ordered a big red bow which will be placed at the entrance of my door for the ribbon cutting ceremony. Finding a big red bow was difficult as there was no store that sells such big ribbons anywhere near us. I had to order the red bow through the Internet and had it delivered at home before the store opening. I sent out invitations to most of my friends so they can join me during my store’s grand opening. I also prepared some light snacks that would be served after the ribbon cutting ceremonies. I was so nervous on the day of my store’s opening since I am not sure if the persons I invited would be coming. A few minutes before the scheduled event, all of my friends and guests arrived which totally relieved me from my anxieties. After the ribbon was cut, I delivered a short speech to thank all those who came to celebrate a special event with me. Snacks we served afterwards which also gave me the opportunity to market my store to my friends. I was so glad everything turned out as I have planned for the store happening. Hopefully, I would be successful with this business venture and hopefully expand and open new stores in other places. With dedication and strong will, I know that I can achieve this personal goal of mine.
